The Department
of Botany has been establishment in 1991-92. The department is having adequate laboratory
and required sophisticated laboratory equipment to cope with fulfillment of changing
syllabus. In the department different co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
like, Nature Study Club, Marathi Vidnyan Parishad, Environmental awareness, scientific
temperament, Excursion tours and expeditions are organized. The department is appreciated
by Peer team of NAAC, Bangalore as, “The forefront and leading department of Vidnyan
Mahavidyalaya in organizing different activities.
